Final Exhibition - Murano Glass Museum - 18.4.2026 - 7.6.2026

From the 18 of April to the 7 of June 2015 the Murano Glass Museum will hold the final exhibition of EGE, curated by Director Chiara Squarcina.

This show can be considered as the most important one, for the number of exposed artworks and for the importance of its location.

In Venice, the 40 artworks separately exposed in Finland, Spain and Portugal, and the sketches selected by the scientific committee, will be shown to the public.

And the final exhibition is important also because a selection of about 20 sketches is becoming reality through the hands of Consorzio Promovetro’s Murano glass masters, bearer of the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark, using the traditional Murano glass techniques.

These new and unreleased artworks represent the essence of EGE project itself: glass craftsmen and glass artists working together, and creating something unique.

EGE is born from the collaboration between the City of Venice, Consorzio Promovetro Murano and the Fondazione Musei Civici of Venice, and it is coordinated by Cornelia Lauf.

Many are the European countries represented, with artworks coming from Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, UK, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, but also international countries, like Argentina, Israel and Turkey.
